What I Bought This Month on Amazon

This Page Creates Charitable Donations When You Use It! There are affiliate links on this page, meaning I may receive a commission (that I then donate fully to charity) if you purchase something through a link (at no extra cost). I only recommend products I have personally used and love!

The way Amazon commissions work is that if you click on my link and buy literally anything (except gift cards), I get a small commission on that item. It does not have to be the item I linked. I cannot see your cart nor do I get an email saying, “Jazmyn bought dog food”. It does not cost you extra. If you are going to shop on Amazon and want me to get commission (so that we can donate it), you can always come back to this page and use any of these links.

August 2024

This month, you can see that we are getting ready for Halloween costumes, adding another Saintly to our house (all of us have become fans of these little things in our bathrooms), sent snacks to a family member who is rehabbing from an injury, and refilled some household items and my favorite blush. We also got an embarrassingly early start on advent calendars because we celebrate Christmas. We got some hooks to setup a station near our garage door where each kid activity has a bag with the relevant supplies inside. I also got this low-cost light therapy lamp that I’ve enjoyed even more than I expected to - I’m excited to see how it feels when the darkness of winter arrives. Finally, I’m trying out a new approach for the clipboard where we keep our family to-dos with this stand-up version. So far, so good on that!

July 2024

This month, I left out the numerous back-to-school supplies we bought so as not to overwhelm you - but I did include the colored pencils because if they are still on sale for under $3 you should hop on that! I got a dress that is my new favorite, pre-ordered a book from one of my favorite newsletter authors (Sahil Bloom), re-upped supplies like parchment paper sheets, prepped to take my daughter on a cruise with a few supplies, and tried out a calming collar for an anxious cat in my house (so far we think it’s really helping).

June 2024

This month, you can tell that we have been preparing for travel (mad libs to keep in our bag for long waits, towel hoodies for all 4 of us to serve as a towel + cover up for beach days, a shawl for me that my kids will probably steal to use as a blanket on airplanes or trains, a travel journal for us to jot down our memories together, kids’ melatonin chewable tablets for the international time change situation, and sink suds to do laundry in hotels along the way. I also pre-ordered the next Diary of a Wimpy Kid book (if you have elementary-aged kids you probably are familiar), and picked up a few things to better organize my skincare products (the rotating tray) and to store yogurt on the sides of the fridge wall to better use some space there.

May 2024

This month had a lot of refill + repeat purchases (like the kids’ protein shakes, those amazing suction-cup hooks, and Auri energy gummies), as well as a handful of things recommended by friends (the outdoor chair, mosquito stickers, and puzzle game. I also am preparing for kids to go to sleepaway camp and for some family travel (reading light and Would You Rather book). I’ve left off anything that we got that was not particularly impressive or that got returned - these things are so far all hits!
