I help talented teams improve their effectiveness by taking their productivity and organization practices up several notches with high-quality workshops.
There are easier and more streamlined ways to get things done!
Because your team’s capacity is everything when it comes to the impact you can have.
My presentations are for real people who juggle the modern stress of leading teams, managing projects, raising families, and navigating the millions of other obligations nipping at our heels on any given day (travel dreams, kids extracurriculars, mealtimes, and so much more)!
My presentations are power-packed with tools, perspectives, systems, and actionable steps that are road-tested by a leader with decades of experience who understands the logistics, guilt, and anxiety that we face on a daily basis.

Jessica is a certified Fair Play facilitator. In this workshop, we will discuss how and why the Fair Play system works, and how it could be a game-changer in your home. Together, we will challenge the toxic time messages we’ve all been taught, explore the legacy we’d like to leave, and look for ways to set YOU up for Fair Play success. Using various learning methods (experiential learning, lecture, video, writing, and reflection), we will examine how to establish a Minimum Standard of Care for the Conception, Planning, and Execution of all the tasks it takes to keep your home running smoothly. You will walk away feeling like you have more time, trust, and transparency in your relationship and in your lives! Workshop can include copies of the Fair Play Book or Card Deck if desired (at additional cost).

Asana is a powerful tool, but it can also be overwhelming. Let’s design a workshop for your team’s specific needs to ensure you all know how to use the basics of Asana, have clear shared expectations for how you’ll use it together, and avoid the most common pitfalls teams experience using a project management tool like this one. We will even get some of those Asana-skeptics excited while we are at it (I know there are at least a few on every team!)

Teams often struggle with clarity on who makes decisions on their team and how those decisions are made. In reality, there are 6 main ways decisions can get made, and each approach is valid in certain circumstances. We'll cover when to use which approach, and practice with tools that help when you are aiming for consensus and clarify where in the decision-making process you are in some of your most important team decisions (and then we'll work through what to do when consensus is hard to arrive at as a team).

Understanding our personal values as individuals is core for doing our best work, and when a team understands collectively the most important values that each of us holds, it can transform the team’s ability to work together effectively. I’ll guide your team through an exercise using a number of exercises to uncover our individual values and then lead an engaging discussion for what this means for you as a team.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you do virtual or in-person workshops?
Both. I’m comfortable doing workshops virtually and have a quality technology set up to ensure we have an effective online learning experience. I also love traveling to be in-person with clients and am happy to see if we can make that work for your team. I am located in the SF Bay Area.
How long are the workshops?
It depends on group size, content, and a few other factors, but most of the above workshops can be done in 60-90 minutes. Sometimes we do a full day with multiple workshops with breaks in between, and this approach can work well for teams wanting to invest in their teams and have shared language.
What is the ideal size of the group?
This can also depend on the experience level of the group and the topic, but workshops can be successful with as few as 3-4 participants and I’ve led workshops with 200+ participants as well.
What’s your background?
I have worked in the education, nonprofit, and business arenas for over 20 years. I have been an award-winning classroom teacher and a successful entrepreneur in both the nonprofit and business sectors. I have decades of experience leading adult professional development on many organizational and individual topics.
What do you mean by “workshop”?
While I do enjoy public speaking, these are not speeches. These are engaging workshops where your team will be actively involved in their own learning and applying it on-the-spot to real challenges they are facing in their day-to-day work.
What’s the pricing?
Your investment in your team is $2,000* per workshop, and this includes
Before-session meetings (as many as are helpful) so that I can personalize the workshop to your teams’ specific needs and plan ahead for how to make the learning as successful as possible.
Live, high-quality workshop for your team
Post-session follow-up resources for your team to reference and deepen their learning, designed especially for your team’s needs
Raffle prizes for participants if you are interested in this approach (which can help deepen engagement for particularly large groups)
If in-person, this price includes printed materials for your staff
*I am a former nonprofit Executive Director, and I proudly offer a nonprofit price of $1,750 per workshop to support your team in the important work they are doing. There will be an additional fee for groups larger than 25.
Longer workshops or retreat facilitation rates are $3,500 for a half-day and $5,000 for a full day.
If workshops happen in person outside of the SF Bay Area, a travel fee of $1,500 also applies in addition to lodging, transportation, and food costs for the trip to be reimbursed afterward.
I am a proud member of 1% for the Planet, which means that I donate at least 1% of my topline revenue directly to organizations working on solving our climate crisis.
